Designed by Julien Renault, Layout Armchair 222 offers a flexible and innovative design shaped by a commitment to comfort, functionality, and circularity. Characterised by the opening in the backrest, this defining feature provides greater comfort while giving its appearance a sense of lightness and transparency. A plywood seat brings natural warmth, while rounded wooden legs provide stability and a timeless appeal, with all components designed for disassembly to extend the lifespan and enable refurbishment for long-term use. The shell is crafted from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and offered in a wide range of colours, with the seat offered in the same wood type and finish options as the base, making Layout a versatile and durable seating solution ideal for offices, restaurants, public institutions, and domestic settings.
